YEAH! 30 MINUTE 5K!

Yesterday’s treadmill workout was a milestone for me: 3.1 in <30 minutes!

And I even set the treadmill on a 0.5% grade to make up for some of the lighter effort with treadmill running compared to running on the street!

Next stop: 3.1 in 29:00.  That’s a 9:21 minute mile.  Strategy:

1. stairs 1X per week with heavy intervals

2. continued HIIT workouts running at higher speeds after a warmup
