weight training/GPS annoyances
my HRM uploaded my workout to the web, but didn’t calculate any calories. And now I can’t find the page showing my workouts again. ARGH!
Good workout though… it felt really hard. Hope I’m not too sore to run later this week.

upper body–3 rounds
Had a new idea for strenth training–do one set of each muscle group in rapid succession, then on the next round change to a different exercise for each muscle group.
e.g., what I did on this day:
pushups
lat rows
bicep curls
triceps pushbacks
military press
trapezius rows
(then start again)
military pushups
pull ups
chest press & flys
hammercurls
triceps dips
delt flys
trapezius rows
Worked great! It was quick and my heart rate was up the whole time!

Arms & Shoulders
This is probably my favorite of the p90x videos, because I can actually DO all the exercises and feel decently good about myself afterwards. A lot of the other videos I have to skip some sections because I just don’t have the muscle!
I had a really good tweak in my left shoulder earlier this week but it seems to be resolved and this video felt good!

P90x: chest & back 30 min
I just couldn’t get my ass in gear yesterday. Emotionally, mentally, physically–I was not bringing it. I started the yoga video but a) I found the idea of 90 minutes of workout totally unbearable and b) my calves are screaming sore from the Stairs workout on Sunday.
But to look on the positive side, instead of just flopping down on the couch I did the first set plus a few exercises of the second set of chest & back.
